Happy Hispanic Heritage Month

As an Hispanic  guy today I’m happy to inform everyone on Hispanic Heritage Month. September 15 is the beginning of celebrations of U.S. Latinos. About our culture and history. Did you know that Hispanic Heritage celebrations started in 1968 by congress, but only for a week long. Then in 1988 was expanded to a whole month.

Hispanic heritage month starts middle of September because  it coincides with national independence days in several Latin American countries: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica celebrate theirs on Sept. 15, followed by Mexico on Sept. 16, Chile on Sept. 18 and Belize on Sept 21.

To all my Latinos out there Have  A great months and celebrate with pride. Because I will. This weekend i’ll be having a get together at home. Having some tamales for dinner with some Tequila margaritas and play some Loteria.

Thanks for the Reading
